Becky Lynch's WWE contract is coming up soon, no new deal signed yet
May 12, 2024
It has been known for some time that Becky Lynch’s contract with WWE was coming up in 2024, along with other notable main event stars such as Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and more. A report from Fightful Select has revealed that the current reigning WWE Women’s World Champion has not yet agreed to a new WWE deal though, and that her contract is still set to expire next month in June.
Lynch is still reportedly working on her old WWE contract for now, which will expire in around three weeks time. It is noted in the report that Lynch and WWE are in conversations when it comes to a new deal, but things have still not been finalised as of yet. Lynch’s upcoming WWE Women’s World Championship defence against Liv Morgan at the King & Queen Of The Ring 2024 premium live event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia will be taking place just before her contract expires.
Earlier this month, Lynch’s husband Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins signed a new multi-year deal with the promotion, which was reported to be worth some “big money”. It was noted prior to WrestleMania 40 that there was little to no expectation that Lynch would end up leaving WWE.
