National Wrestling Alliance will return after an almost one-year hiatus on March 21 with the Back For The Attack pay-per-view. The show will be broadcast on FITE TV and the streaming network will distribute the event via its cable and satellite partners. NWA Powerrr will also return on March 23 and will be broadcast on Tuesday nights on FITE TV via a "low-cost subscription bundle."

According to Inside The Ropes, NWA has signed an exclusive rights deal with FITE and past episodes of Powerrr will move over to the streaming platform following their removal from YouTube. The promotion received a "substantial offer" from another sports streaming platform which Billy Corgan almost agreed to, but Nick Aldis advocated for Corgan and FITE to have a discussion.

Following talks, FITE COO Mike Weber made an offer "above and beyond" the other deal on the table and NWA accepted.

When discussing the FITE TV deal with the Associated Press, Billy Corgan noted the promotion was "never in any financial peril" and the plan had always been to pivot away from the YouTube model.

"We were never in any financial peril. We were totally on a growth pattern. The plan for last year before things kind of hit the skids was to start pivoting. We were in discussions with Live Nation about running live events to help bring in revenue and expand who was watching the product. It was more about growing pains stuff, but we didn't have any problems internally with the product," Corgan said.
