Report: Anthony Bowens Possibly Injured On AEW Dynamite
Anthony Bowens might be out of action
Nov 17, 2022
One of All Elite Wrestling's stars might have suffered an injury ahead of the promotion's Full Gear pay-per-view on Saturday, November 19.
Anthony Bowens was in action against Swerve Strickland on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite and both competitors fought back and forth until Strickland gained the upper hand by snapping back Bowens' arm. The former NXT North American Champion then wrenched the arm again before he followed up with the JML Driver for the victory.
While an arm injury for Bowens was part of the match with Strickland, Fightful Select reported that The Five-Tool Player may have aggravated his shoulder on Dynamite. Fightful couldn't say for certain if the shoulder issue is legitimate or just part of the story leading into Full Gear, however.
The Acclaimed have been locked in a feud with Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee in recent months, with their first clash taking place at All Out. The Acclaimed then defeated Swerve in our Glory for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Dynamite: Grand Slam a couple of weeks later.
