It feels like it's a weekly occurrence these days but it appears yet another Raw Superstar is set for a big push under the Paul Heyman regime.
Following on from the reports that the likes of
Ricochetwere in line for a huge shunt up the card as WWE look to keep that crucial teenage demographic interested with All Elite Wrestling's weekly TV debut happening in a couple of months time, there's a new name the former ECW head honcho is reportedly liking at the moment.
That name is Cedric Alexander, who Heyman has been impressed with since his move to Raw in the Superstar Shakeup following WrestleMania 35 - that's according to Dave Meltzer on a recent episode of
Wrestling Observer Radio.
After not being featured in a very prominent role for a long old while on Monday nights, the
Age of Alexander
has shown promise on the red brand over recent weeks.
Starting with his portrayal of Gary "THE GOAT" Garbutt alongside Roman Reigns, former Cruiserweight Champion Alexander has been feuding with Drew McIntyre -
who was supposed to be lined up to face The Undertaker at SummerSlam according to reports here, there, and everywhere a month or so ago.
Currently, Cedric and Drew have one win each to their name in their mini-series of matches.
Cedric is one of the competitors in this year's King Of The Ring tournament, which kicks off TONIGHT on Raw.
