Three of All Elite Wrestling's stars will be missing from the promotion's upcoming joint Forbidden Door pay-per-view with New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

LuchaBlog has reported that Andrade El Idolo was initially booked for Forbidden Door but he has since been pulled from the event. The Lucha Brothers (Rey Fenix and Penta Oscuro) will also not be making an appearance at the June 26 show.

According to F4W Online, Andrade, Penta Oscuro, and Rey Fenix will not be at Forbidden Door because of NJPW's working relationship with Mexican promotion CMLL. It had also been known "for a long time" that Penta and Fenix would be unable to work Forbidden Door.

CMLL and fellow Mexican wrestling promotion AAA have had issues since 1992 when Antonio Pena broke away from CMLL to form AAA. CMLL won't book talent that have worked AAA events and CMLL will also try to stop companies they have working relationships with from booking talent that wrestle for AAA.

Andrade has worked two AAA events since he signed with AEW last year, while The Lucha Brothers are regulars in the Mexican promotion. NJPW and CMLL have had a working relationship since 2009 and that partnership was reaffirmed last year.

While Andrade El Idolo, Penta Oscuro, and Rey Fenix won't be at Forbidden Door, AAA World Tag Team Champions FTR haven't been affected by the politics as of yet. It appears Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler will defend the ROH World Tag Team Championships on June 26 in a Winners Take All Match against IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Great-O-Khan and Jeff Cobb, and Roppongi Vice.

Issues over Andrade appearing at Forbidden Door first emerged after he tweeted about not being able to work for New Japan.
