Report: AEW Makes A Major Backstage Hire

All Elite Wrestling have made another major addition to their team behind the scenes.

PWInsider has reported that AEW have hired former WWE Vice President of Communications Adam Hopkins. The new hire's job title has not been confirmed but he is expected to be involved on the PR side of AEW. He started with the promotion last week for the March 29 edition of Dynamite.

Hopkins previously worked for WWE for 25 years, starting with the company all the way back in September 1997. He held various roles, including Manager of Media Relations and Director of Communications before being promoted to his vice president position. He was largely at the front lines for handling media requests and had a reputation for being fair. Hopkins was also credited as a major player in building Triple H's vision of NXT.

AEW have expanded their backstage team over the past several months, having hired Jeff Jarrett as Director of Business Development. Former WWE Vice President of Global TV Production Mike Mansury was also brought in by AEW as a Senior Vice President.
