Liv Morgan’s name was thrown into the wrong kind of controversy in recent weeks after being arrested on December 14 following a search of her vehicle. Morgan (real name Gionna Daddio) received charges for possession of a synthetic cannabinoid and possession of marijuana which were both found, the former being classed as a felony charge.

According to court records and now via her lawyer, the news has emerged that the felony charge regarding synthetic cannabinoid on Morgan has been dropped. Morgan’s lawyer, Jack A. Goldberger released a statement to The Messenger saying,  "We are extremely pleased that the State Attorney's office made the correct decision to not purse felony charges against Gionna."

The charge for marijuana possession still currently stands, and Morgan and her attorney are to be back in court in February for a status conference.

It was reported following her arrest that Morgan had no heat with WWE, and there in fact big plans for a push whenever the injured star returns to programming.
