The NXT UK Women's Championship will be defended this Thursday on NXT UK as reigning champion Kay Lee Ray puts the title on the line against Meiko Satomura.
The longest reigning NXT UK Women's champion in history has previously stated her desire to face the legendary Satomura, and now the two wiill clash for her championship this week on the WWE Network, live at the BT Studios in London.
Satomura was signed to WWE in October last year and made her in-ring debut for the brand in February, defeating Isla Dawn in her first match under the WWE umbrella.
Kay Lee Ray has held the NXT UK Women's Championship since defeating Toni Storm for the title at NXT TakeOver: Cardiff, in August 2019, and holds the record for the longest run with a WWE Women's Championship in the modern era.
In Satomura, though, Ray will face one of the most decorated Japanese wrestlers in history as she seeks to cement her own legacy in WWE.
