Finn Bálor will put the NXT Championship on the line against Adam Cole on next week's episode of the WWE programme.

The match was made official on last night's episode, in which Bálor told Roderick Strong that the only way to get Cole to show himself was to offer him that what he was looking for: an opportunity to win the NXT Title.

Cole has repeatedly got the better of Bálor since superkicking him at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day in February and the two have been closely linked since The Prince's return to the black-and-gold brand in 2019.

Bálor and Cole wrestled in a match-of-the-year candidate on NXT last September for the vacant NXT Championship, which Bálor won and has held since, while the two also clashed for the title back in December 2019 when the former leader of The Undisputed Era held the gold.

Bálor and Cole's match on the March 10, 2021 episode of NXT is the second championship outing to be confirmed for the show. Io Shirai will also be defending her NXT Women's Championship against Toni Storm, while general manager William Regal has revealed he will be making an announcement that will 'change the landscape' of NXT.
