No Holds Barred Match Set For AEW Battle Of The Belts V

AEW Battle of the Belts V is set to air live on January 6 after a live edition of AEW Rampage, and after a hectic Dynamite on January 4, AEW have announced that a No Holds Barred match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships will take place at BOTB V.

On Dynamite, the team of Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal thought they had the AEW World Tag Team Titles secured after getting the three over champions The Acclaimed. However, referee Stephon Smith missed the fact that Sonjay Dutt had pushed Anthony Bowens leg off the ropes, and after being informed, restarted the match with The Acclaimed quickly getting the win with a roll-up.

Jarrett, Lethal, Satnam Singh, and Dutt later cut a promo demanding a rematch under No Holds Barred rules, with AEW subsequently sanctioning the bout.

Also set for Battle of the Belts V, Kip Sabian finally gets his shot at Orange Cassidy’s All-Atlantic Championship, whilst Jade Cargill will look to extend her undefeated streak when she puts the TBS Title on the line against Skye Blue.
