New Japan Pro-Wrestling headed to Kagoshima, Japan on Monday, April 29 for their traditional Spring show, Satsuma No Kuni.
Two titles were on the line at Satsuma No Kuni and SHO remained IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion in the main event, defeating DOUKI of Just 5 Guys. DOUKI looked to have the match won following a German Suplex into a pin but Yoshinobu Kanemaru appeared from out of nowhere and pulled the referee out of the ring before he could make the three count. DOUKI proceeded to take out Kanemaru while the official was down but Ren Narita simply made his way to the ring next and took out DOUKI with his wooden bar and a Double Cross. Moments later, Narita dragged SHO's lifeless husk over DOUKI as the referee suddenly recovered and counted the 1-2-3.
It was a good night for Bullet Club War Dogs in the semi main event as Clark Connors and Drilla Moloney successfully defended the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships against Los Ingobernables de Japon's Hiromu Takahashi and BUSHI, with BUSHI taking the pin following Bullet Club's tag team finisher.
Elsewhere on the show, NJPW presented their usual collection of tag team matches.
