NJPW 50th Anniversary Show Results

Almost 50 years to the day of their first-ever event, New Japan Pro-Wrestling held their 50th Anniversary Show today at the Nippon Budokan.

The show celebrated the promotion's history and NJPW legend and six-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion Tatsumi Fujinami was in action in the main event, teaming with Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi against Minoru Suzuki, Zack Sabre Jr., and Yoshiaki Fujiwara.

STRONGHEARTS also made their NJPW debut as a group, taking on El Desperado, Yoshinobu Kanemaru and DOUKI.

The show opened with a celebration of NJPW's history and longtime announcer Kero Tanaka welcomed NJPW alumni to the ring, including Keiji Muto, Riki Choshu, Jushin Liger and Akira Maeda.
