Nick Gage is back!

While the tease had been that FTR would be showing up at the Hammerstein Ballroom to answer The Briscoes open challenge for the GCW World Tag Team Titles, two deathmatch legends faced off against the champions instead in the main event of The Wrld On GCW.
As The Briscoes waited for their opponents, Matt Tremont first made his way to the ring before Metallica's 'For Whom The Bell Tolls' filled the Hammerstein Ballroom and Nick Gage entered the arena, celebrating with his fans before he entered the squared circle.
It then proved to be a successful night for Gage as he picked up the win for his team following an Avalanche Piledriver through a door and a Chokebreaker to Mark Briscoe to win the GCW World Tag Team Championships. The GCW locker room and Gage then celebrated as the pay-per-view went off the air.
As The Wrld On GCW aired on traditional pay-per-view alongside FITE TV, though, the main event only went five minutes. As a result, Jay Briscoe has already called for a rematch, first tweeting, "F*ck PPV time restraints" before he added, "Run that sh*t back exclusively on @FiteTV #RematchClause."
Sunday's show marked Gage's GCW return. He hadn't appeared in the promotion since he lost to Minoru Suzuki at the end of October, noting in early January he had taken some time off to get his 'soul and body right.'
