Over the last several weeks, The Rock has made lengthy video posts to social media, ranging from eight minutes to twenty-one minutes, cutting promos to build his feud with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins ahead of a tag team match at WrestleMania 40, where he will team with Roman Reigns. These promos and videos are littered with profanity, something which isn’t often allowed on WWE programming due to the PG rating it has followed for many years.

Even on WWE TV, The Rock is seemingly given more leeway when it comes to swearing, and this is something that has rubbed some talent up the wrong way, per a report from SEScoops.

It is said that some WWE talents believe there are double standards when it comes to The Rock, especially after a memo was sent out recently to ensure wrestlers remained within PG guidelines both on WWE and on social media. The Rock getting a free pass is something talent has questioned, with the belief being if he can curse, why can’t the rest of the roster? Given his standing as a board member of TKO and simply just being Dwayne Johnson, the internal belief is that there is a double standard.
