Kane and golf carts? No, this isn't about WrestleMania X-Seven...

Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs - AKA WWE Hall of Famer Kane - has had misconduct allegations against him come out as a result of a lawsuit settlement.
The allegations were reported on by the Knox News outlet.
It is alleged that Jacobs asked county employees to work on his home while they were on the clock and that he pressured a department head to lie to state prosecutors (and then cursed at him when he refused to do so).
According to a federal lawsuit, Knox County settled by agreeing to pay $150,000 to former parks and recreation director Paul White. A county spokesperson denied the allegations in the suit, saying that Jacobs never pressured White to lie.
The suit revolved around Jacobs' Chief of Staff, Bryan Hair, being accused of using a county golf cart at his home. Hair resigned in the aftermath of the scandal, but the events led to the state of Tennessee opening an investigation.
It was also revealed that on June 22, 2020, Jacobs sent county employees to his home to remove a snake that had crawled into a vent and was worrying his wife Crystal. White was joined at the Jacobs residence by two employees, where together they worked for close to two hours to remove the snake.
The county claimed that Jacobs told White that the work should be done on their lunch break, not on county time.
Kane last appeared for WWE at SummerSlam, where he announced the show's attendance.
