Suzuki-gun will soon be dead.

Suzuki-gun were in action at today's Super Junior & World Tag League Finals as Minoru Suzuki, Lance Archer, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, and DOUKI defeated EVIL, SHO, Yujiro Takahashi, and Dick Togo. Minoru Suzuki picked up the win for his team and following the match, he made a major announcement.

Upon grabbing the microphone, The King of Pro-Wrestling cut a long promo, talking about the progress each member of Suzuki-gun has made over the last 11 years. It is time for the faction to embark on their separate paths, though, Suzuki announced, before he revealed that Suzuki-gun will be no more at the end of 2022.

Suzuki then celebrated Suzuki-gun alone with one of the faction's towels before he headed backstage.

Suzuki-gun have been a long-running faction in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, having formed in April 2011 amidst the collapse of Kojima-gun. The faction have held almost every title there is to hold in NJPW and the group had a dominant run in Pro Wrestling NOAH in 2015 and 2016, during which Suzuki reigned as GHC Heavyweight Champion.

The stable currently consists of Minoru Suzuki, Taichi, Zack Sabre Jr., El Desperado, Lance Archer, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, TAKA Michinoku, and DOUKI. Former members include Yoshihiro Takayama, Shelton Benjamin, Davey Boy Smith Jr., Takashi Iizuka, Takahashi Sugiura, and Kengo Mashimo.
