A match reported as the longest in WWE history (by news sources including

PWInsider

) took place last night on Raw.

The seven-man gauntlet match lasted just over two hours, and featured all of the Superstars set to compete in Sunday's men's Elimination Chamber match: Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, John Cena, Elias, Finn Balor, The Miz, and Braun Strowman. The winner of the PPV match will, of course, go on to compete for Brock Lesnar's WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34.

Seth Rollins wrestled for over an hour - the longest stint in a match by a WWE Superstar in Monday Night Raw history - and defeated Roman Reigns and John Cena back-to-back. This was a huge result for Rollins, and a major shock - especially given the fact that he was recently shoehorned into the Elimination Chamber match after an injury to tag team partner Jason Jordan.

An exhausted Rollins was then defeated by Elias, who himself was knocked out of the match by Finn Balor. Balor, in turn, was eliminated by The Miz, who tried to run away from final entrant Braun Strowman.

Strowman eventually won the match, before delivering a beatdown on Miz and both members of The Miztourage, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel.

The first ever women's Elimination Chamber match also takes place on Sunday, and will feature Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Sonya Deville, and Mandy Rose. All six women competed in a tag match to close last night's Raw, and although Sasha Banks picked up the win for her team, it was Bliss and James who stood tall - having apparently renewed their alliance from last year.

Elsewhere on the card at Elimination Chamber, Asuka faces Nia Jax. Should Jax win, she will be inserted into the Raw Women's Championship mach at WrestleMania, making it a triple threat between herself, Royal Rumble winner Asuka, and whoever the champion is at the time.
