Logan Paul Expects To Sign WWE Contract Extension
Logan Paul seemingly won't be leaving WWE
Mar 31, 2023
While his WWE contract expires after WrestleMania 39, Logan Paul doesn't look set to depart the company any time soon.
Paul revealed to Ariel Helwani of BT Sport that his WWE deal is up on April 1 and that he was contracted for a year to work two WrestleManias and five events. The YouTuber then noted it is unlikely that he is done with WWE as he is interested in remaining with the company. A new deal has been discussed, although he has yet to put pen to paper on a contract extension.
Paul then added that WWE would be "silly not to" renew his deal, saying:
"This was a topic my manager and I were talking about. My life moves so fast and I don't know what my stock will be in a year. It seems a little irresponsible to sign anything longer than a year-long contract. What's going to happen in a year? Last year, at this time, I had no idea I was going to be an almost full-time wrestler as a staple of my career, and now I am. Let's be honest, they're going to f*****g renew my contract. I mean, come on. It'd be silly not to."
Paul made his in-ring WWE debut at WrestleMania 38, teaming with The Miz to defeat Rey and Dominik Mysterio. The PRIME owner then defeated The Miz at SummerSlam before a loss to Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Paul sustained an injury in that match but returned at Royal Rumble to kick off a feud with Seth Rollins. Paul will square off with Rollins on night one of WrestleMania 39 on April 1.
