Liv Morgan Vs. Ronda Rousey Added To WWE SummerSlam

SmackDown Women's champion Liv Morgan will defend her newly-won title against the individual she won it from, Ronda Rousey, at SummerSlam later this month in Nashville.

Morgan captured the title from Rousey last Saturday at Money in the Bank, after successfully cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase she won in a ladder match earlier in the night. The cash-in match came moments after Rousey retained the title against Natalya.

On Friday's SmackDown in Fort Worth, TX, Rousey defeated Natalya by submission in a quick rematch. Moments earlier, Natalya had interrupted a Morgan promo by saying if she hadn't softened Rousey up first, Morgan never would have won the Women's title.

The current card for the 2022 WWE SummerSlam, taking place Saturday, July 30 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, is as follows:
