AEW have confirmed that new signing Kyle O'Reilly will make his in-ring debut for the promotion on next week's New Year's Smash

O'Reilly made his shock debut on the December 22 edition of AEW Dynamite, coming out to attack Orange Cassidy and align with Adam Cole once again. Alongside Bobby Fish, the former Undisputed Era members in WWE NXT stood together for the first time since the group disbanded back in March.

AEW have now confirmed that Cole, O'Reilly and Fish will team together on next Wednesday's New Year's Smash episode of Dynamite as they take on Cassidy, Trent and Chuck Taylor.

O'Reilly departed WWE following the expiration of his contract less than two weeks ago, last appearing for the promotion in a Cage Match with Von Wagner on the December 7 episode of NXT in a losing effort.

Also confirmed for next week's AEW Dynamite: New Year's Smash is the second semi-final of the TBS Title Tournament as Thunder Rosa takes on Jade Cargill, while Jim Ross will return to commentary following his skin cancer treatment.
