Kurt Angle will retire from in-ring competition this Sunday at WrestleMania 35 with a match against Baron Corbin.

However, despite appearing on the biggest show in WWE's calendar, the Hall of Famer has been announced for an appearance outside of the company towards the end of May.

Cody Rhodes made the announcement on Twitter earlier today:

Angle will be joining the likes of The Undertaker, Bret Hart, The Outsiders, Jim Ross, Eric Bischoff, Sting and Bruce Prichard at the event, which takes place from May 23 to 26 at the Caesars Palace – Tuscany Suites & Casino in Las Vegas.

It's an interesting booking for Kurt, as alongside 'Taker, he's the second contracted WWE Superstar to be allowed to take a booking outside the company.

Despite rumours that he will be facing John Cena in an impromptu match on the Grandest Stage Of Them All this Sunday, Angle does appear to be facing Baron Corbin in his retirement match.

The Olympic gold medalist's scheduled match against Rey Mysterio didn't happen on last night's Raw, with the master of the 619 facing Corbin instead.
