Konosuke Takeshita is returning to Japan after a four-month run wrestling in the United States, most notably for All Elite Wrestling.

The DDT Pro star wrote on Twitter, "Today I am leaving America. I have so many great memories of the last 4 months. Thank you all for being so nice to me."

Takeshita wrestled in 29 matches in the United States since April 20. His first match upon arrival was a win over Brandon Cutler on AEW Dark Elevation, taped in Pittsburgh.

Among Takeshita's more high profile matches, he faced then-AEW World champion Adam Page on the May 18 Dynamite in Houston, interim champion Jon Moxley on the July 13 "Fyter Fest" Dynamite in Savannah, GA, and unsuccessfully challenged ROH World champion Claudio Castagnoli at Battle of the Belts III last weekend in Grand Rapids, MI.

Outside of AEW, Takeshita wrestled for promotions such as DEFY, TERMINUS, Deadlock Pro, Black Label Pro, and PWG. Takeshita was also part of a four way bout at Ric Flair's Last Match on July 31 in Nashville.
