Killer Kross Officially Debuts In WWE NXT With New Name
Heading straight to the top of the card...
Apr 16, 2020
Killer Kross's debut has been teased on NXT TV for a number of weeks. Numerous vignettes have played showing the coming of the apocalypse with crows picking the meat off dead animals, and a mushroom cloud while a clock ticks and tocks in the background. The Herald Of Doomsday also made a brief cameo on last week's edition of NXT as he and Scarlett Bordeaux watched Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae walk back to their car after Johnny Wrestling's match with Tommaso Ciampa.
Kross is seemingly being positioned near the top of the card as he officially made his debut on the black and gold brand during last night's episode. To end the show, the broadcast headed backstage to Ciampa cutting a promo in which he said his feud with Gargano was over and he called his former friend "the better man." After this statement, The Sicilian Psychopath was suddenly attacked from behind and beaten down. As the former NXT Champion lay prone on the floor, Kross appeared above him and said "tick-tock" as NXT went off the air.
Kross's name was not mentioned during the backstage attack, but his new merchandise on WWE Shop revealed he has been renamed Karrion Kross, seemingly to tie in with his doomsday vignettes. The former IMPACT Wrestling star's t-shirt is emblazoned with "XII" with the crossed logo scratched through it.
