Kick-off Show Match Set For WWE Day 1
Cesaro & Ricochet take on Sheamus & Ridge Holland

WWE have confirmed the Kick-Off Show Match for the first-ever Day 1 pay-per-view this weekend.
The promotion have confirmed that Cesaro will team with Ricochet to take on his former tag-team partner Sheamus and his new running buddy Ridge Holland on the Day 1 Kick-Off Show on Saturday 1 January 2022.
Cesaro has had issues with Sheamus and Holland in recent weeks, with 'the Celtic Warrior' providing the assist for Holland to ensure a win over The Swiss Cyborg a couple of weeks ago.
The problems between Cesaro, Sheamus and Holland bubbled over during the '12 Days of Christmas' Gauntlet Match last week on SmackDown, resulting in Cesaro ending up helping Ricochet to see off Sheamus in the bout, which was ultimately won by Sami Zayn.
The four SmackDown stars will meet in tag-team action in the first match of the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view on Saturday ahead of the main card; a show that will be main-evented by the Universal Championship Match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.
