Kevin Owens hadn't appeared on WWE TV since the April 6 episode of Monday Night Raw when he cut a pre-taped promo. It later emerged that K.O suffered an ankle injury during his match with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 36 and didn't even know he was injured until the next morning when he woke up with a swollen ankle.

The former Universal Champion was expected to be out until mid-May and this was indeed the case as Owens returned to Raw last night. He hosted the latest edition of The Kevin Owens Show with special guests Zelina Vega, Andrade, Angel Garza, and Austin Theory. After Vega berated him for not stepping inside the ring with her faction, Owens revealed he had one more guest and introduced the returning Apollo Crews.

This set up an impromptu tag team match as Owens and Crews faced off against Andrade and Garza. It didn't take very long for The Prizefighter to pick up the win as he and Apollo vanquished their opponents in 170 seconds.

What K.O does next remains to be seen, but his brief exchange with Vega could very well lead to a feud with Andrade or Angel Garza heading into Backlash.
