TNA Knockouts World Champion has become one of the biggest talking points in wrestling, with ‘The Juggernaut’ pulling double duty for TNA and WWE NXT in recent weeks.
Grace coming in to NXT for a programme with Roxanne Perez (which also saw TNA’s Ash by Elegance make her return to NXT) has prompted discussion of further crossovers between the two companies, and Grace herself told Sports Illustrated she wants a full-on WWE vs. TNA pay-per-view event:
“My pie-in-the-sky dream is to have a Worlds Collide pay-per-view,” said Grace. “That’s something everybody–wrestlers and fans–would want to see.”
Many names on both sides of the WWE-TNA divide have spoken about further collaboration, with Leon Slater revealing his intentions to work with NXT's Je’Von Evans, whilst old ICW foes Drew McIntyre and Joe Hendry have also spoken of their admiration for one another’s work.
WWE have worked with other promotions in the past, working with New Japan Pro-Wrestling in the 1970s, and ECW in the mid-90s, but have never promoted a promotion vs. promotion PPV/PLE before, discarding Raw vs. SmackDown vs. NXT iterations of Survivor Series.
