Jordynne Grace Thinks She Is Overlooked Because Of Tribalism

Jordynne Grace has cemented herself as one of the top women’s division wrestlers in the world thanks to a dominant spell in IMPACT that has seen Grace hold the IMPACT Knockouts, Digital Media, and Knockouts Tag Team Titles - a feat that made Grace the first ever Knockouts Triple Crown winner.

However, Grace believes she doesn’t get the credit she deserves due to ‘tribalistic’ wrestling fans not willing to acknowledge promotions outside of their chosen brand, saying the following on Busted Open Radio:

"I don’t think disrespected is the right word. I think overlooked might be more accurate. Honestly, I truly think that’s just because tribalism in wrestling is so adamant across the board. If people watch WWE, they’re very big on the WWE wrestlers. If they watch AEW, they’re big on AEW wrestlers. I just think if people do go out of their way to watch IMPACT, it’s very rare, so I don’t think that they’re gonna see me one time and be 100% behind me. So I can understand that. But at the same time, it does suck to work as hard as you have worked and not be acknowledged completely," Grace said.

Whilst IMPACT may not be the force it once was, it has quietly and consistently been producing excellent wrestling matches and cards, with Grace one of IMPACT’s best talents.
