When the dust settled after AEW Double or Nothing on Saturday night, Cody Rhodes announced to the assembled press that former WWE champion Jon Moxley had signed a multi-year deal with the promotion. His first day on the job saw him gatecrash his way into the ring, taking down Chris Jericho, referee Paul Turner, and (after a fight) Kenny Omega, before standing tall to conclude the event.

AEW's next event is Fyter Fest, scheduled for Daytona Beach, FL on June 29, as part of the Community Effort Orlando fighting game event. The Wrestling Observer notes that AEW sent out a press release late Saturday night, confirming that Moxley will be making his in-ring debut at that event.

As of this time, Moxley's opponent has not been named.

Other matches scheduled for Fyter Fest at this time include Cody Rhodes vs. Darby Allin, a hardcore match pitting Michael Nakazawa against CEO Gaming's Jebailey, and a six-man tag in which Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks will face Pac and The Lucha Bros.
