Johnny Gargano Out With Shoulder Injury

Johnny Gargano is on the shelf with an injury.

It was announced during the January 9 edition of Monday Night Raw that Gargano is out of action with a grade two AC sprain. Johnny Wrestling then noted that he suffered the injury at a house show in Toronto, Canada over the holiday period.

"I injured my shoulder at a live event in Toronto (ironic?), and the medical team is going to protect me from myself for a bit.. but you better believe I'm going to do EVERYTHING I can to get back in that ring so I can be that guy you all know I can be. Just let me in that Rumble!" Gargano tweeted.

The former NXT Champion teamed with Dexter Lumis to defeat Baron Corbin and The Miz at the December 30, 2022 live event in Toronto. Gargano has been involved in a programme with The Miz since his WWE return, realigning with former son-in-law Dexter Lumis in the process.

Gargano returned to WWE in Toronto back in August 2022, only one month after Triple H became Chief Content Officer.
