Jim Ross Claims AEW Has Cable TV Home, Will Debut In October

The mystery of All Elite Wrestling's would-be television deal is an ongoing one. Tony Khan, Cody Rhodes, and others have made reference to negotiations and offers over the past several months, and while the vibe is that there will be a TV broadcast of some variety, nothing concrete has been announced.

Jim Ross, who recently signed a three-year deal with AEW to work in both broadcasting and advisory capacities, appeared on

to discuss his new employer. Talk of AEW's television prospects came up and, while Ross didn't give all of the specifics, he did speak of the show as though it were a certainty.

Ross noted that the program, which is still unnamed (at least publicly), debuts "...in October on national television on a major cable network."

Said the veteran voice, "When people hear what network we're going on, they're gonna be doubly excited. It's a network we can all find."

Ross makes his debut for AEW at their maiden event, Double or Nothing, on Saturday, May 25, at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
