Jay White’s second run in IMPACT Wrestling has been eventful so far, to put it mildly.

After bringing Guerrillas of Destiny Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa to IMPACT with him to finally face The Good Brothers, White turned on the Bullet Club lynchpins at No Surrender, handing The GBs the win and a spot back in Bullet Club.

On this week’s edition of IMPACT Wrestling, White - flanked by Gallows, Anderson, and Chris Bey - explained his reasoning for turning on The G.O.D.:

“Some would say that would be personal for me,” started White, talking about his upcoming match against mentor Alex Shelley. “But it is never personal for me, it is always strictly business. At No Surrender, Tama, Tanga, I know you feel like it was personal, but guys you’ve gotta trust me, you’ve gotta believe me when I say it was strictly business. Sometimes in business you’ve got to shed the dead weight, because you two just no longer measure up to the standard that I need in order to reach the heights that I am aiming for with Bullet Club.”

All four men were decked out in Bullet Club t-shirts and jackets, suggesting that Gallows and Anderson had finally rejoined the group the helped found in 2013:

“So as the leader - as the real leader Tama - I had to make an executive decision for the betterment of Bullet Club business… Bullet Club business that you two will no longer be a part of,” continued White. “But I tell you who will be a part of it; the ‘Ultimate Finesser’ Chris Bey, and the greatest - I’ll say it again - GREATEST tag team in Bullet Club history [The Good Brothers].”

The Good Brothers then claimed that Bullet Club didn’t feel right without them, before the group was interrupted by Eric Young and VBD, as G.O.D ran in to beat down Bullet Club with VBD’s help.
