Lawyers for Janel Grant filed a pre-action discovery petition with the Superior Court of Connecticut on Tuesday, July 16 against Dr Carlon Colker and his clinic, Peak Wellness, Inc. a joint report from POST Wrestling and Wrestlenomics has revealed. Within the petition, Grant is seeking medical records related to the sex trafficking lawsuit she filed against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis earlier this year, with Grant's attorneys claiming the records the clinic has provided so far are incomplete and inaccurate.

Grant has alleged within the petition that around November 2019, Vince McMahon directed her to visit Colker's clinic in Greenwich, Connecticut. While being treated at the facility, Grant alleges she was instructed to take pills and undergo treatments that were not disclosed to her. When she questioned Dr Colker, he allegedly said, "If you don't trust me, we have bigger problems."

Grant's attorneys wrote within the new court filing:

"On multiple visits, Dr. Colker prescribed Ms. Grant with 'adrenal trays' or 'adrenal supplement trays,' provided by his office and instructed her to take the unmarked pills daily. Dr. Colker did not explain the substances, dosages, or purpose of the pills to Ms. Grant beyond purportedly addressing her symptoms of fatigue. When Ms. Grant asked Dr. Colker about the substance of the supplement trays, and specifically which substance(s) caused her to experience nausea, he responded with pushback about trust, including, 'If you don't trust me, we have bigger problems.'"

It is also alleged by Grant that an employee at Peak Wellness was involved "in several instances of sexual abuse against Ms. Grant by McMahon as further described in Ms. Grant's federal complaint." It is alleged in Grant's original lawsuit that a physical therapist from an undisclosed clinic was recruited by Vince McMahon to participate in threesomes with McMahon and Grant, sex acts that Grant has alleged she was forced into.

The original lawsuit also states that Vince McMahon urged Grant to see a doctor who is referred to as "Celebrity Doctor" at an "Alternative Clinic." It has not been confirmed if Carlon Colker is the "Celebrity Doctor" in the lawsuit or if the "Alternative Clinic" is Peak Wellness. Grant alleged in the original lawsuit that she felt pressured by Vince McMahon to remain being treated at the clinic.

It was also alleged within Tuesday's court filing that Colker knew about the nondisclosure agreement between Janel Grant and Vince McMahon and the physician recommended Grant use his attorney to help negotiate the NDA.

Dr Carlon Colker is a celebrity doctor and he has previously worked with the likes of Justin Bieber, Jeremy Piven, Kristaps Porzingis, and Shaquille O'Neal. Grant's petition also alleges that Colker "routinely treats employees and talent of World Wrestling Entertainment."

A spokesperson for Vince McMahon has responded to the new petition, saying:

"Ms. Grant's petition for pre-action discovery against Dr. Colker is a direct violation of the court-ordered stay, and nothing more than an attempt to generate publicity on her false allegations and to harass people connected to Mr. McMahon, who is being sued by Ms. Grant in a separate matter. The facts are that Ms. Grant told Mr. McMahon she was fatigued and asked him to recommend a doctor.  Ms. Grant called Dr. Colker and became a patient of his.  Her statement in the filing is inconsistent with her prior remarks.  Ms. Grant never had anything but good things to say about the doctor when speaking to Mr. McMahon and others about him."

Grant's attorney Ann Callis has since said: "We did not violate a federal stay by filing a state action against a non-defendant."

Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis in January 2024 accusing Vince McMahon of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and physical and emotional abuse. WWE are also accused of attempting to sweep the allegations against McMahon under the rug and John Laurinaitis is accused of sexual assault. The lawsuit also argues the NDA she signed with Vince McMahon is unenforceable, citing the Speak Out Act and the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000.

All parties agreed to pause the lawsuit in June following a request to Janel Grant from the United States Department of Justice. The request was made as attorneys for the Southern District of New York continue to investigate allegations of sex trafficking and sexual misconduct against Vince McMahon dating back to 1986. The lawsuit has been paused until December 11.
