Hurricane Helene has been causing issues for many parts of the US, including its effects on the professional wrestling world. TNA’s tapings in Spartanburg, South Carolina have been moved for a second time, as announced by the promotion, now taking place on Monday September 30 and Tuesday October 1.

“TNA Wrestling confirmed tonight that it again is re-scheduling the pro wrestling shows at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium. Due to the aftereffects of Hurricane Helene, TNA will hold its Spartanburg shows on Monday & Tuesday, September 30 & October 1, at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium. TNA will announce the start time for the re-scheduled shows on tnawrestling.com and all social media outlets. Tickets for the originally scheduled Friday (September 27) show can be used on Monday and tickets for the Saturday (September 28) show can be used on Tuesday.”

Planned for the tapings were matches such as ABC vs. The Hardys, The Rascalz vs. Jake Something & Hammerstone, Nic Nemeth vs. Matt Cardona, Josh Alexander vs. Jonathan Gresham and PCO vs. Rhino.

It isn’t only TNA affected by weather conditions, as MLW has been hit too. MLW’s Slaughterhouse event, set to take place on October 4, has been cancelled, with no new date announced as of yet.

“Due to the severe impact of Hurricane Helene in St. Petersburg, we have made the decision to cancel the upcoming show at the Coliseum. The safety of our staff, talent, crew, and fans in the Tampa/St Pete area is our top priority, and we believe this is the most responsible course of action given the current conditions. We will keep everyone updated with further details, including rescheduling information if available. All ticket holders will receive full refunds effective immediately. Please stay safe and take care.”
