How WWE Dealt With The Soaring Temperatures At WWE Super ShowDown Revealed

One of the main talking points from last week's WWE Super ShowDown event has been the sweltering conditions the Superstars were forced to perform in.

The temperature in Jeddah hovered around the 100°F (38°C) range for the entire show, with commentators Renee Young, Michael Cole, and Corey Graves referencing the torrid conditions throughout the near five-hour event.

The heat was visible on just about every single Superstar in the ring too, with Finn Balor losing almost the entirety of his 'demon' bodypaint during his Intercontinental Championship defence against Andrade.

The heat, obviously, went a long way to explaining the distinct house show feel of the night in terms of the action seen between the ropes.

There were terrible tasting "hydration salt" drinks being passed out to help prevent dehydration, and the conditions were said to have been "miserable and borderline unworkable" for many of the wrestlers."
