Jon Moxley was one half of the AEW Fyter Fest main event in that unsanctioned, lights out match against Joey Janela.

After securing a brutal victory, the current IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion was attacked by Kenny Omega, who was looking to get some revenge for being thrown off some really big poker chips by Mox at Double Or Nothing back in May.

Omega and Moxley meet at AEW's fourth official event, All Out, on August 31, and even though the former WWE Champion looks like being one of the key players in the opening stages of All Elite, there is talk that he can leave the company sooner than expected if things don't go well.

A report from

Rajah

states that Jon has signed a three-year deal with AEW, but can opt out after one year.

The same report also claims that when Moxley left WWE, he told the powers that be there that he would be taking a year away from professional wrestling to heal his body and his brain, with the assumption from the company being that he would return some time in 2020.

"In fact, the source adds that WWE was so sure that Moxley would be back in WWE that they had already planned for some "tentative creative" for his comeback at the Royal Rumble next year,"

Rajah's

report continues.
