Former WWE Star Makes TNA Debut

A former WWE star has made their presence in the IMPACT Zone on the January 25 episode of TNA IMPACT, when a video aired announcing Mustafa Ali’s impending arrival in the company. 

The video aired after the close of IMPACT, and showed footage of smart-suited men walking as a voice-over spoke of TNA’s recent change, and how an ‘x-factor’ would soon introduce a different type of change to the company. A suited Ali then walked into frame and said "I'm Mustafa Ali and I approve this message" into the camera.

Ali has been developing this politically themed character since departing WWE, with Ali currently undergoing a ‘world tour campaign’ that will see him wrestle for the likes of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, alongside recent appearances for indy promotions such as Game Changer Wrestling.

Ali’s use of the phrase ‘x-factor’ has TNA fans excited about the prospect of Ali entering the famed X-Division, with matches against the likes of Chris Sabin, Mike Bailey, KUSHIDA, and more on the table if Ali goes that route.

No dates have been announced as of writing for Ali to make his TNA in-ring debut.
