Since AEW started, they have made use of numerous former WCW stars. Jake "The Snake" Roberts can be found managing Lance Archer, Dustin Rhodes is still wrestling at 50-years-old, and Arn Anderson is currently Cody Rhodes' coach. Former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho also competed for the defunct promotion from 1996 to 1999.

Now, a former WCW star has admitted they are open to facing Le Champion inside the squared circle. After Jericho tweeted that he and Jungle Boy would have rekindled their feud if not for the coronavirus pandemic, one fan told The Painmaker to instead take on Vampiro. The former Lucha Underground quickly spotted the tweet and responded with "Im down."

The match is unlikely to happen, however. Both Vampiro and Jericho have legitimate heat with one another dating back to their time in Mexico in the early 1990s. While time has passed, they still don't care for each other and despite Vampiro being up for the bout, it is doubtful the leader of The Inner Circle would be.
