We all know how it works for the overwhelming majority of would-be WWE Superstars upon their arrival in the company: they report to the Performance Center, debut at an NXT live event, work a few matches to get acclimatised to the WWE in-ring style, before making their big TV debut a short while later.

The latest new signing to make their live event debut is former IMPACT Wrestling star Samuel Shaw, who lost to Fabian Aichner in a singles match at the NXT live event in Ocala, FL on Saturday night.

Shaw was signed to WWE after a five-year stint with IMPACT. During his time there, he won the Gut Check competition.

Samuel is part of the new class of Performance Center signees who joined WWE last month. Also part of that class are the likes of Trevor Lee, Rachael Ellering and both members of 3.0.

35-year-old Shaw stands at 6 foot 1 and weighs around 240 pounds, sporting one of the strongest moustache games in WWE today. He was trained by WWE Hall Of Famers, The Dudley Boyz.
