Fandango last competed inside a WWE ring back on the December 11 episode of NXT when he teamed with Tyler Breeze against The Singh Brothers. Breezango was ultimately victorious in that match but The Ballroom Brawler suffered an elbow injury and was scheduled to be out for up to a year.

Deputy Dango returned sooner than anyone expected, however, as he reunited with Breeze on last night's edition of NXT. Beth Phoenix noted on commentary he was able to return so soon because he opted not to have Tommy John surgery and instead decided to have physical therapy to heal his elbow.

Breezango were quickly presented as one of the top tag teams on NXT as they faced The Undisputed ERA and Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch in a number one contenders' match for the NXT Tag Team Championships.

The reunited team even managed to pick up the win. The beginning of the finish came after Dexter Lumis entered the ringside area and distracted Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong. This created the opening for Tyler Breeze who hit Fish with the Beauty Shot, and Fandango followed up with a Leaping Leg Drop for the 1-2-3.

Now, Breezango will face Imperium for the NXT Tag Team Titles in the near future.
