Finn Bálor has opened up on his long-time friendship with PAC, recalling a recent evening where the duo caught up.

Bálor and PAC have known each other since they were teenagers, working on the independent wrestling scene in the United Kingdom, and the WWE SmackDown star recently had the All Elite Wrestling performer over for the evening.

The former NXT Champion revealed that the duo watch a compilation of former Manchester United, Celtic and Ireland midfielder Roy Keane.

Speaking exclusively to Cultaholic's Tom Campbell, Bálor said: "We’ve been friends since we were teenagers in the business. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since then and we’re in close contact quite frequently. He’s doing incredible work.

"We had a really good night here at home, at my house. We had a couple of beers and we watched ‘The Best Bits Of Roy Keane’ all night long! That was a priceless night, alright!"

A lifelong wrestling fan, Bálor recalled how his grandfather watching World Of Sports initially got him into the business, before the introduction of Sky television brought the WWF into his world.

A young Bálor would become enamoured with Koko B. Ware, upon watching WWE for the first time.

He continued: "When I was a kid, it was on World Of Sports. I remember my dad’s dad - my grandad - watching it when I was very young. Then Sky TV came into Ireland, and then WWF was all over the television every Saturday morning, and I got gripped by it from an early age, and then I never let go.

"From a really young age, [my guy] was Koko B Ware. This high-flying guy, who’s not as big as the rest of them, he’s got this bird on his shoulder and he’s doing all this [flapping arms motion]. For me, as a young kid, that was my guy."
