EXCLUSIVE: AJ Styles Open To TNA Return As Part Of WWE Crossover

When AJ Styles acrimoniously departed TNA Wrestling in 2014, the ‘Phenomenal One’ looked forward, and proved to the world he is one of the greatest in-ring performers of all time.

Styles went on to conquer New Japan Pro-Wrestling and WWE after helping build TNA, but with WWE and TNA now in a working relationship, could Styles head back to the IMPACT Zone? Here’s what he told Cultaholic’s own Fraser Porter ahead of WWE Clash at the Castle:

“I would say that hopefully something like that happens. It’s good for not only talent in WWE to go to TNA, TNA to come to WWE, it’s better for the younger talent to get into the ring with some people who have different styles. It’s very important that we are well rounded and you can’t do that all in NXT. So the fact that we’re going to be able to do that somewhere else is great,” said Styles.

TNA’s Leon Slater recently spoke of his desire to wrestle some of the best WWE have to offer including AJ, and Styles had the following to say to Leon:

“As for Leon, Hey dude. I hope it happens. It’ll be fun, no matter what. If not, just keep tearing the house down.”
