Drew McIntyre Hoping To Face Cesaro One-On-One In WWE

Drew McIntyre is hopeful of having a singles match with Cesaro in the near future in WWE.

Despite both wrestling in WWE for a number of years and competing in multi-man bouts and tag-team matches, Cesaro and McIntyre are yet to face each other in a one-on-one bout.

With both men now on the Friday Night SmackDown roster, McIntyre is hopeful of the opportunity to change that in the new future and take on the Swiss Superman in a match.

Speaking to Bleacher Report, McIntyre said: "Oh yeah, [Cesaro] is definitely on my list. I have to mention him any chance I get and the fact we haven't faced each other considering we've been on the same rosters over the years.

"We've both wrestled 20 years apiece. We've never had a singles match, which is pretty unbelievable. I've been seeing a lot of chatter on my social media that he also brought it up this week, so I think it's only a matter of time before that match happens."
