DDP: Why Would Cody Rhodes Want To Work Anywhere Other Than AEW?

Speaking with Wrestling Inc, Diamond Dallas Page has questioned why his friend Cody Rhodes would want to work anywhere other than All Elite Wrestling, praising AEW President Tony Khan in the process.

"Tony Khan, there ain't nobody like Tony Khan. Tony Khan is a regular dude who just happens to be a billionaire. He's a regular guy, he's nice to everybody, he's nice to enhancement guys, you know? So, why would you want to work anywhere else? He's got a lot of stroke where he's at, that's important man, especially as you go on this journey," DDP said.

Page's comments come after it emerged the AEW Executive Vice President was a free agent following the expiry of his contract at the end of 2021.

The American Nightmare has appeared on Dynamite since news of his contract status broke although there is no word on if Cody has re-signed with the promotion. Both sides were said to be working on a new deal as of last week.
