Former WWE Superstar Davey Boy Smith Jr. is currently weighing up the options regarding his future.

The 35-year-old recently spoke with Sports Illustrated for a wide-ranging interview, with the topic of where he could be in the future coming up.

Though he had no decided on his next destination at the time of writing, Smith did mention that "I have a lot to think about and a lot of options to weigh, but I'm looking forward to seeing what transpires in my future. A return to WWE is very possible".

Smith, who currently performs for Major League Wrestling, will soon be a free agent.

The son of 'The British Bulldog' Davey Boy Smith, he wrestled for WWE as Harry Smith and then David Hart Smith between 2006 and 2011.

Smith was due to return to WWE in order to help induct his father into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year, before the event was postponed until 2021 owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

A tour for Smith with All-Japan Pro Wrestling and a spot in the Champions Carnival tournament was also cancelled due to the pandemic, per the SI interview.

Since his August 2011 release from WWE, Smith has worked extensively around the world, including for New Japan Pro Wrestling (where he was a three-time IWGP Tag Team Champion with Lance Archer).
