Pro Wrestling NOAH have revealed the dates for Keiji Muto’s upcoming retirement tour.

The legendary wrestler announced earlier in June that he was calling time on his career, with the 59-year-old Muto having missed a chunk of 2022 due to hip issues, as well as having a history of knee problems.

So far four dates have been announced for the ‘Pro Wrestling Love Forever’ tour, with a fifth and final date - referred to as ‘Pro-Wrestling Last Love - Hold Out’ - yet to be announced. The January 2023 show is being advertised as ‘Great Muta Final ‘Bye Bye’’, with Muto’s infamous alter-ego making its final appearance.

One of only four men to have held the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in NJPW, the Triple Crown in AJPW, and the GHC Heavyweight Title in NOAH, Muto is also a former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, and was a part of the infamous nWo Japan in the 1990s, as well as one of NJPW’s heralded Three Musketeers alongside Masahiro Chono, and Shinya Hashimoto.

Dates announced so far:

  • July 16, 2022 at Budokan Hall - vs. Kaito Kiyomiya
  • September 25, 2022 at Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium
  • October 30, 2022 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo
  • January 22, 2023 at Yokohama Arena (Great Muta Final ‘Bye Bye’)
