Dates Confirmed For 2024 WWE Draft

WWE has officially confirmed that the 2024 Draft will be taking place, with the General Managers of Raw and SmackDown set to pick who they want to represent their respective brands.

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H announced earlier in April that the Draft would be making a return post-WrestleMania XL, and on the April 8 edition of Raw, it was confirmed that the draft will take place on the April 26 edition of SmackDown, and will conclude on the April 29 episode of Raw.

NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov has already declared that he'll be in the talent pool for the draft, and it remains to be seen who else from NXT could be called up to the main roster, and if anyone will go from Raw or SmackDown to NXT.

This will be the second year in a row that the draft will happen after WrestleMania, with previous drafts taking place in October. Overall there have been 17 drafts in WWE history, with the first taking place in 2002 after the conclusion of the Invasion, which saw the WWE locker room filled to the brim with WCW and ECW wrestlers alongside established WWE talent.
