It has been 25 years since D-Generation X formed, crotch chopping their way throughout WWE and picking up a boatload of championships in the process.

Now, to celebrate a quarter century of the Attitude Era group, WWE have announced a D-X celebration will take place on the October 10 edition of Raw, live from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

A video posted to the official Barclays Center Twitter account celebrates Shawn Michaels and Triple H’s run in the black and green, and also shows glimpses of D-X members Road Dogg and X-Pac. With Michaels, Triple H, and Road Dogg all part of WWE management this reunion comes as little surprise, but with former member Billy Gunn in AEW it seems unlikely that a full reunion will be on the cards.

First formed in 1997, D-X started as a heel group led by Michaels, until Triple H took the reins following Michaels’ loss to Steve Austin at WrestleMania 14, turning the group into one of the biggest babyface acts of the Attitude Era.

Since then the group has split and reformed on several occasions, with the last proper D-X run consisting of just Michaels and Triple H as a tag team in the late 2000s. The full group was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019.
