Craven Cottage Would Have Cost 'Millions More' Than Wembley Stadium For AEW All In
Wembley Stadium was more economically viable than Craven Cottage for AEW All In

AEW All In is fast approaching, with it breaking the all-time paid attendance record for a professional wrestling event in the last 24 hours, surpassing WrestleMania 32’s number of 80,709. The event will take place in London’s Wembley Stadium, though when it came to booking a big overseas show, many believed that Craven Cottage would be an option.
Tony Khan owns Fulham Football Club, and their stadium of Craven Cottage is one which he has spoken about in the past as a place he would love to host an AEW event, but in the end the decision was made to move forward with Wembley Stadium, and Khan explained his reasoning in an interview with Uproxx Sports.
“There’s two places I thought about. One is also very dear to my heart, and that’s Craven Cottage. Wembley is, for a pro wrestling event, the more economical choice for many reasons. In that, you can have much more capacity for attendance since Wembley is a larger stadium by far, and also, the same wonderful charms of Craven Cottage and all the history of that magnificent venue. (Craven Cottage) poses so many challenges to loading in a pro wrestling event and it would cost millions more to produce the event at Craven Cottage than at Wembley.”
All In will be headlined by MJF vs. Adam Cole for the AEW World Championship, and will also feature notable names such as Kenny Omega, FTR, Chris Jericho, Will Ospreay, Sting, and more.
