Following in the footsteps of Cody Rhodes and Dustin Runnels, Wayne and Wyatt Rhodes recently made their AEW debuts.

Nephews of Cody and Dustin, Wayne and Wyatt took on (and defeated) Aaron Solo and Jon Cruz in the dark match prior to this past Saturday's episode of Collision.

The duo billed themselves as The New Texas Outlaws, an homage to The Texas Outlaws tag team, which saw their grandfather Dusty Rhodes team with Dick Murdoch.

Wayne and Wyatt made their pro debuts on a Rhodes Wrestling Academy showcase event on March 24. At the RWA showcase on July 15, the New Texas Outlaws won the promotion's tag team titles.

Their uncle and trainer Dustin, meanwhile, is enjoying a purple patch in his career and is currently a double champion in AEW after he and Sammy Guevara won the ROH Tag Team Titles on Collision. The 55-year-old also holds the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Titles with Ross and Marshall Von Erich.

Last month, Dustin confirmed that his AEW deal was due to expire in September. It is unknown whether he has signed a new contract with Tony Khan's promotion.
