CM Punk does indeed have options should he wish to continue his professional wrestling career.

Punk had been a part of All Elite Wrestling until he was fired with cause in September 2023. Punk's firing came after a backstage fight with Jack Perry and multiple incidents with AEW CEO Tony Khan which Khan has claimed left him fearing for his life at All In.

The 44-year-old has reached out to WWE about a return since his AEW firing but Punk was reportedly turned down by the company, with the belief being that WWE don't feel they need an additional top star at the moment.

The belief was IMPACT Wrestling were interested in Punk, though, and Josh Alexander has said in the past that Punk would be welcomed into the promotion.

In an update, Ibou of WrestlePurists has revealed that IMPACT did reach out to Punk and make him an offer. How Punk responded is unknown.

After Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful tweeted that "IMPACT would welcome CM Punk", Ibou replied: "They reached out to him threw the offer out there."

Punk previously wrestled for IMPACT - then known as TNA Wrestling - in 2003 and 2004 as part of Raven's 'The Gathering' stable. Punk was also backstage at IMPACT Wrestling's Spring Slugfest tapings in Chicago earlier this year. Punk was said to be in a good mood and he even played a round of UNO while mingling with talent.

IMPACT Wrestling's Bound For Glory pay-per-view will emanate from Chicago's Cicero Stadium on Saturday, October 21.
